Peeking out of my apartment window was the first thing I could think of to become my original moblog's first entry!
Two hurricanes and a lake
Crane's Roost Lake as it appeared after two hurricanes in 2004 pummeled Central Florida.
The I-4 Eyesore as it appeared in September 2004.
Live on Gallery
It was four photos in before my friend, Jeff, finished helping me set up my previously self-hosted photo albums, and this is a shot of the newly launched web site.
It was prettier in real life
Silly me, believing a cruddy cell phone camera could capture such a beautiful sunset.
Once a month
Before I had much of a social life in Orlando, I traveled at least monthly to Tampa to visit my parents, and I was one of the church sound operators.
Lunch, good—back to work, bad
Welcome to Dallas
Arrived for an annual convention and to finally meet my best friend in from the Interwebz.
A room with a view
Starting to cool of in Florida
Yes, the guy actually had a small dog strapped in on the back of his motorcycle.
A strange tchotchke my friend, Melvin, found while traveling overseas.
Geocaching at The Senator
I thought I was back from a two-year geocaching hiatus, but I didn't do many more after this photo. (Sadly, this tree was carelessly set ablaze and is now gone.)
Meeting in the presidential suite
During a ministries convention, I was part of a group that was ushered to the top of the hotel for a meeting.
Originally installed for convenience, it became a necessity to combat a former coworker who apparently had nothing else better to do than stand at my office doorway and see how long it took for me to realize he was there.
Little girl holding a baby chicken that was part of a church children's story
Oh, thank you—I didn't know how to wash my hands before
Fazoli's is, sadly, no longer in Florida, but I chuckled every time I went into the washroom and saw this sign.
Cough, cough, hack, gag
They're smokers and proud of it.
I can see clearly now…
Tea time massage
Don't you dare
Recorded for posterity
One of Star Trek: Enterprise's best stories.
Weapon of choice
Here's a slight peek at the Sony Ericsson T616 used for all but the newest six shots in this Flickr set.
Call it in the air
Back in the days before wireless receivers shrunk to barely protruding from the USB jack.
First triple-digit outdoor temp reported by my then-new Pontiac Vibe
I used to have a box-saving habit
This photo didn't even include some of the larger item boxes that were in my bedroom. I've since learned to discard stuff like this.
Got my priorities straight
First meal, TV show, and 'net surfing after I bought my condo in 2005. Hadn't yet brought anything else over from the apartment.
En route to the 2005 Adventist World Session, thanks to my GPS, I found an obscure, yet scenic and effective, route around a major traffic jam caused by a huge crash on the interstate.
I finally got to ride a Segway!
A colleague had one at the 2005 Adventist World Session.
I took this photo for an acquaintance who was big on variations of the word.
ID badges for 2005 Adventist World Session.
The head end
A previous owner of the condo I lived in from 2005 to 2010 had wired up all the rooms with ethernet. I gladly made use of his handiwork.
Update: way back in 2005 when I shot this photo, I naively believed that having all the glass in place and the construction crane disassembled meant the I-4 eyesore was nearly completed. Sadly, as of early 2013, the entire interior and the first couple floors of the exterior are still wide open to the elements.
She wears many hats
I had just purchased a set of CD organizing shelves. Rather than just blindly move all my CDs from the portable cases, I spent an evening organizing and alphabetizing them.
The end result
It was laborious, but a worth-while result, to re-organize all my CDs into new shelves.
The whole kit & caboodle
I'll "bee" right here
Tuesday night video duty and FIRST post with Sony Ericsson S710a
I had just gotten my new phone and was itching to post SOMEthing! I'm part of the video team at church.
A long-ago gift from my medievalist friend.
One of my job functions is to copy CDs and DVDs for other departments in the building onto inkjet printable media.
The new weapon of choice.
It was soon after acquiring this Sony Ericsson S710a that I stopped using my personal photo album for my moblog and moved here to Flickr.
