Sparkling in the new year
And let me add how impressed I am at this unedited/no-filter iPhone 5s photo.
Tuesday, you are pre-emptively fired!
Fellow Floridians, don't panic, just wear layers and carry on—all will be fine, our northern friends have it much worse
Driving through Sweetwater in the morning always feels like torture for something terrible I did—I'm thankful it's very rare that I ever have to take this route

Not even going to kid around with this one—everyone, please stay safe
Beautiful afternoon in the park

Arrived today, March 7.
In the immortal words of His Steveness, “Boom!”
Yay, my car has door handles again—thanks dad!
The scariest part of an iOS upgrade—when it sits at this point for a LONG time
What is it with cats and boxes?
Caution: plastic slides + dry air = static hair

So happy to finally have a real recording studio—and we're not wasting any time putting it to use
A little sidewalk chalk and some water began turning Adri into a Smurf
I … just … don't … even …
I see things like this and can't help but think, film processing is still a thing?
Pay attention, class: oblique ≠ italic
Why are we allowing Samsung et al to convince us this is okay? It's not okay!

Florida Hospital—ever expanding
The white and rust-colored tower in the center is the one most people are familiar with at Florida Hospital. The older original facility to the left now serves as the children's hospital. On the right is the newer Ginsburg Tower. And on the far left, the new Florida Hospital for Women is beginning to take form. Sadly, when finished, the women's hospital will almost completely obscure this view taken from the top of Adventist Health System Florida Division.
A set of nifty fake candles from ThinkGeek. Instead of flame, they use randomly flickering LED lights. I like the amber color best, but they can glow blue as well.
Hadn't planned any fireworks viewing this year, but good timing resulted in catching the last few moments of Red, Hot, and Boom
Mama deer and baby deer wish you a happy Independence Day
This family was trotting across the lawn at my sis-in-law's home. Mama came my direction briefly, probably thinking I had food, and made for a decent close-up portrait.

Discovered this in my attic recently.
This is probably my favorite birthday gift this year—my pin collection cases hung in my closet!
Last night's bowling scores
It's almost embarrassing. I only just barely managed to tie Meg's score, while Adri almost tied Lori. Meanwhile, who knew Stacy had such skillz! Even though she arrived late and took over for Lori's mom, VerDenne (ergo the Verstace name), she still whipped all of us.
My greeting as I walked into my sis-in-law's house today
Beautiful antique silverware
A coworker brought in this gorgeous 1847 Rogers Bros. silverware set and shared his story at staff meeting how he saved 50¢ here, 10¢ there, etc. when he was a teenager to raise about $100 over the course of several months to surprise his mother for Christmas.
