A couple of friends and I had a somewhat impromptu fun day. Started with some eats, followed by a little bit of frisbee time and some much-welcomed time to cool off in the pool from the near-100° temps. Trying out my new camera's underwater capabilities added to the fun.

These are the best kind of holiday plans—virtually no real plans. Just hook up with no agenda and enjoy the company of friends for a picnic and some fun. Here's Lori.

First time using my new camera underwater
So, my new pocket digital camera I picked up a couple months ago is waterproof. Naturally, we all had to transform into little kids and try it out. Ellie went first. Funny, but cute at the same time.
