Note: the Flickr Collections thumbnails that I use for this site’s home page have been a long-time casualty of a massive server transition after SmugMug bought Flickr. As of August 12, 2020, the thumbnails have been restored, but at the moment seem to only work when actually on Flickr’s site. They don’t yet appear to be coming through the API used by the plugin for displaying Collections here. Hopefully that will get resolved soon and Collection thumbnails will finally be back here. Either way, the links do work—only the thumbnails are missing, so you can still navigate into a year to view those photos.
Lori and I had been gifted single day passes to Disney World by our friend, Jeff, more than a year ago. I was fearful the passes had expired. Thankfully, they hadn't; although they were only valid for Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom ever since Magic Kingdom cost about $5 more for a single day. We were able to pay the difference and had a 14½-hour visit to The Happiest Place On Earth™ 😉 It was extremely busy, but I've seen worse. Perhaps just a little bummed I didn't get to ride the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, but I had absolutely no desire to wait in line for it. The queue was never less than 90 minutes and was 110 minutes much of the day. I figure it'll be there for a LONG time, and I'll find a way to return to Magic Kingdom one day.
