My friends Luis and Marisol will soon be leaving Florida as Luis takes a position in Massachusetts. This day was a make-good on the thought to do some photos of their kids in the pool as Marisol has been teaching their swimming lessons. But add in Marisol's sister, Kathy, and Luis' sister, Rosa, plus Marisol and Kathy's mother—and let's just say there was a lot more fun to be had than just smiling at the kids. 🙂

Pooling Around
This is the first time I've ever used the movie trailer tool in iMovie for iPad. I took lots of footage and initially felt bothered to have to cut out so much to use this template. Once I was finished, however, it was amazing to see how I didn't really need it all, and the short clips I used were fully representative of the afternoon. We had a blast getting shots of Marisol's kids while Marisol, Kathydria, and Rosa played around in front of the camera too.

They spent a lot of time right here—the hot tub above spills water into the pool to heat it, and it was really warm right here where the waterfall came out.

Yep, I joined in a few times, as well
Although she departed our office family in 2007, Rosa has been one of my best coworker friends, and all it takes is a peek through hundreds of past photos to confirm that we never miss an opportunity for a goofy photo.
