2017 was a weird year. The majority of it was spent wondering how my employment would carry on. The first six months was interim status as my office tried (and failed) to overhaul my former department into a new one with new leadership. Eventually, when a contract team of workers was brought in, my proposal to transfer to the print shop of our service center was granted, so I've begun all new responsibilities. With spring came a splendid trip to Charleston, SC, resulting in what will be the last of my annual spring-time destination trips hosted by the Southern Union Communication Department, because I am no longer a communication employee. The family beach trip in July was also a wonderful memory.
